“Arvid” – A Viking-Inspired Walnut Bench

I designed this walnut bench after being inspired by Viking ships. Chiseling on the sculptural half-lap joints made this design/build particularly fun. Seeing this piece go from a drawing to a model to a life-size bench made the artist in me happy beyond words.
